I write this in the wee hours of the morning. Listening to the internet clips on the stimulus package that has just been approved by the congress. I do rather question the why President Barack Obama (Confession, i do enjoy calling this man the american president and what ever follows next doesn’t disregard this one underlying fact.), but well back to my question of why one as a newly elected president is pushing so vigorously for the bill to be passed one.
I do personally understand the crisis within the american borders and throughout the world. I for one am supporting the economic theories presented by the democrats in presenting the stimulus package to congress, but question the ethics that envelope the whole plan. The one thing that might be slightly dangerous to the democrats is one i think will eventually impact heavily on their structures in the coming years and this will be all caused by the illusion of thinking that campaigning is still going on.
I base that premise on mere observation: watching news channels, reading up and well following up on the president. I do think the democrat strategists are still campaigning on keeping Obama on any meduim of publicity of as long as possible, as to assure him another four years. I do think all the policies coming up in the next four years will all carry a lot of emotional attachments to them and Barack will be taking centre stage with all of them.
