I shall not be scared of sleeping:

Let me not sleep
For my fear of sleep cheats me of my dreams
Let me stay awake to face my realities, extinguish my present manifestations
But not sleeping cheats me of more then just my dreams
It cheats me of a divide that will help in bringing about an understanding of my realities
For my dream is what realities are made of.
Now let me sleep for a better understanding of my realities.

A South Africa with no provinces.

Think about it, and in every way; i mean hey it does sound a tad appealing to all those ready and willing to revolutionise a country in many ways then one. I do not perhaps align myself with such thoughts and one perhaps should start questioning all the strategic plans the ANC has in trying to maintain majority voters within the country.

Be assured in every way that scrapping the provinces gives the ANC an outright majority way over the two thirds needed for constitutional reform in a manner it sees fit. I’m assured Sicelo Shiceka is pondering on such thoughts within the masses, but on a lighter note and i’m assured this is what government will mention when trying to push for the report. Firstly it will pertain to how easier regulations will be, allowing for a centralized government, the list is non-exhaustive; but lets see what happens.

Well i’m typing out my own letter right now headed straight for Mr. Thabo Mbeki, on his thoughts on the issues coming out from ANC structures recently.

Wish me luck, i do hope he still has the paranoia of checking all he’s emails…

creativity marked our downfall, creativity will bounce us back…

I’m going to write this as creatively as those that led us into this global crisis went about coming up with the derivatives of buying up debt stocks. I do admit the economy is in shutters, office blocks all over are vacant, unemployment is not even escaping the strict definition of the term anymore; But I do firmly believe this spells a new beginning for creative entrepreneurs, innovators in every form. The coming back of such economies have started, as multinationals close down, small companies are opening up niche in all respective industries, taking on the market shares that previously were restricted due to boundaries setup by the big corporates, with a renewed incentive for government performance under such conditions; one can only marvel at the objectives set out by most administrations globally. In fives years, I’m assured of this by every political rhetoric, strengthened by the human creative mind.

WHY THE ANC

Lets first clear a few things, firstly i’m a rational ANC supporter, i’m a sober minded individual who follows on politics and in most occasions partake in conversations about the ANC, the political situation and definitely the other parties.

I’m well informed of all the policies and stances of the different parties contesting the elections, having done my research and used comparative tools in analyzing all the highlighted plans, I FIRMLY REMAIN AN ANC supporter, follower, visionary, participant of the solutions provided by my associations within the ANC.

I’ll state a few interesting facts about about the ANC, and with this alone i believe any rational person would consider.

Firstly my party (i do say this proudly); researched ways in which they would run and govern the South African country and its citizens back in 1955, when the freedom charter was been drafted. This is years before my parents even were born, years before people could actually start dreaming about being able to attend multi-racial schools. (new parties are formulating policies with 3months-10year experience); a bit shady, and one has to acknowledge that most of all that will be coming from the ANC.

Secondly; the ANC as a organization has now established efficient methods in which districts are managed, muncipalities are conducted.

Thirdly: there is no party that with regards to anything associated with them, does not put the average South African first (if we sense otherwise, we’ll impeach you: LOL…) From they policies, to our mannerisms.

I do not forget corruption and criminal offences, but again i do urge individuals to separate the organization as a whole and the person corrupt. Without the organization, the likelihood that such people would still be corrupt happens to be high.

Do think of company structures; as in essence the government is dependent on people- and only people make such initiatives effective. I suppose my arguements are towards some objective; i do assure you they aren’t

I take into account all the charges and current events happening with the media and outside the media. I assure you, the ANC has no people with double standards, we remain a family, a family that is loyal, a family that accepts when its done wrong and is willing to face the music in that regard. I do believe that if one is to run away from his/her own family; we should acknowledge that the person will never be stable… I’m highly justified in using this analogy- do consider it.

I’m not done; i will never finish this- i hope i never get to; because i’m assured the ANC will be changing with time, driving the CHANGE and making sure South Africans are on the train of change-

We leave no one behind; our economic policies have to include all South Africans, otherwise we dont endorse them. Our Plans have to be able the people- or else we do not commit to them.

This is the ANC; for the people, by the people- together for one country… How i enjoy it-

the Dancing, the loud noises, the happiness… How beautiful my country is today partly because of the ANC; empowered by all its people.

At peace-

I do not understand what i’m feeling right now. I do know one thing is assured- and thats how at peace i feel today. I could perhaps link it to many things; being that today is easter sunday, I’m with my family, I’m in the mpumalanga, Cirebe (My investment company) seems to be on track and facing its first acquisition, my relationship thats amazingly beautiful, etc… I could mention things that are within my orbit that have me at peace-

At this moment in time, it being a sunday of the 12th April 2009, 6:53PM. Sitting by the kitchen watching my mom cook away, with my little brother glued to he’s phone and my dad quietly watching TV; not having my little sister here as been quite dampening. But at this time; i do glance at each of them; and wonder whether or not they can see how happy i am. How overwhelmed i am-

That at this exact moment; i’m happy, overflowing with emotions that are just content.

I’m thankful; for such a feeling (and i’m hoping people do get to experience such emotions)

Regards

Thoughts

My thoughts, not only understand my experiences. But my thoughts have through all those experiences shaped and moulded my thought processes. My thinking now is anchored on what i’ve seen. felt or sometime in my life had to go through.

I fight it all the time; I’m not restricted by my mind; i shall not allow my thoughts to further on line out my life. I shall stand up to it; i shall dream up experiences that aid in setting me free. I shall work hard on defying all my thoughts-

I shall dream.

I know who you are as long as i know your friends.

I know the likelihood of you smoking and drinking through your friends. I know as to whether you have a girlfriend/boyfriend through your friends. I do bet you i know what you get upto through your friends. I’ll tell how you converse through your friends. I’ll measure your craziness through your friends, and more so be able to have a meaningful conversation with you, because of knowing your friends.

I bet you guys can carry on mentioning tons of them. But this comes after having read one of the inserts on the Dave Duarte blog titled “you and your social networks”

I do further strengthen the notion firmly rooted in each individual; about social ties and experiences and close off as president after president has said; “Umuntu Ngumuntu Ngabantu”

Vodacom Lists

If one hadn’t guessed that telkom would be soon either investing in MTN or CellC after the unbundling of their shares; well i do hope next time you start following on trends that have happened within the minning and manufacturing businesses.

Read yesterday, that well telkom will be buying out CellC- i do think there should have been some insider trading of information. At first one would question why telkom never really fought the sale, keeping it underwraps and delaying the process only meant that with time; cellC was gearing up and fast having its slice of the market share- in which telkom would eventually opt out and buy out a rival company (i do believe with telkom’s infrastructure and operational capacity); if the merger is to be successful, CellC stands a chance in perhaps eventually dominating the market in about 8-12 years.

I am perhaps just signalling issues the competitors should be looking out for, as Telkom also has resources from the governmental side and also with private sectors.

Hands up to telkom-

I bid you all good night;

Richard

Have you ever felt like sharing so much of your experiences, that virtually they become unexplanatory in any way imaginable.

Its exactly how i’m feeling right now (having just updated myself on the news within South Africa and the world over; i’m yet to reflect on them, but well for now) i’d rather like to talk about the notion of decisions being strongly suited to one direction or perhaps with leveraging both outcomes and giving you both sides desired.

This comes after a conversation with a friend on such dilemma’s in life; It literally crumbles down the one premise that has been driving economic thought for centuries and still is today. And that, is that is assumes individuals are ration in every choice; i’m rather perplexed at this assumption; because if it held and held strongly in most issues- then one would presume the world would be amazing as choices would be based not on self interest but all other contributing factors.

I do realise everything i’m saying raises arguments even among teenagers (but again, do acknowledge the purpose of this blog); NO RESEARCH, JUST THOUGHTS and not much detail; as i do dread typing… (i await the advancement of command notebooks; though i’m assured jobs and gates probably have this technology to their disposal)

Regards for the day.

Education is getting outdated very FasT-

I urge all acaemic scholars and holders of any sort of higher education; to relfect on that knowledge given to tthem in those years of learning and try applying it now- (do tell me if they actually are practical and can still be implemented in all your respective fields today);

I do offer a wager to someone who can do such; with some much changing everyday and things getting eradicated; one can only wonder why the emphasis on education so much. (my statement does not try and in any way offer any escapicism from education)

As i firmly believe its one of the necessecities any country and more so every individual needs. I do believe in the economic policies of human capital, what i perhaps do not like is the umbrella explanation given by economic text books and not how such measures are to be implemented and thus overseen into maturity and sustainability.

I do urge individuals in raising necessary questions needed in taclking such issues of how education should be better offered to the masses, how to have it structured, taught and better comprehended in transferring the much intended skills.

I’m going back to studying now- having realised the fundamental skills of better comprehending education and thus mastering the transferable skills given at every institutions alike. My quest continues-
